Hardware Requirements

Minimum configuration

Bloom Cloud Engine Desktop

to process large scans

Operating System

Microsoft® Windows® 10 64-bit

CPU Type

Multi-Core Intel® Xeon®, i7 or greater Series processor, or AMD® equivalent. Highest affordable CPU speed rating recommended

Memory

32 GB RAM

  • Usually very large scans with several hundred Gb on disk can be processed with 16Gb, but more memory (32Gb) availability can help in performance
  • Higher memory speeds offer better performance

Disk

NVME strongly recommended.

  • NVME storage drives provide significant performance improvements over standard SSD drives (SSD drives are adequate for systems disk usage). Example of NVME for reference - Samsung 960 EVO Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E500BW)
  • Working from remote drives or external drive is not recommended.

Video Adapter

Graphics card should support OpenGL. Nvidia Geforce 1050 or equivalent works well.

Mouse

Three button mouse with roller

Browser

Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge

Display Monitor

High DPI monitors supported
